"I've been with this office for more than 40 years. Periodically I look around and see what is available for rates. For the most part rates have been competitive, both on homeowners and auto. The reason I stay here is the service has always been exemplary. State Farm introduced me to Ting recently. Ting is a small module plugged into my house wiring that monitors the wiring for arcing and the supply for stability. Especially nice in an older house where wiring can age. One of the earliest examples of customer care was my daughter had a minor auto accident in her mom's (my ex-wife) car, which had been changed off of State Farm. My daughter call this office in tears not knowing what to do, the staff calmed my daughter, contacted my ex and generally made a bad situation tolerable. Today, I was in a relatively minor accident leaving my car undrivable by a young adult driving a rental. One of the agents did the heavy lifting and set up communication with the rental company. It's looking like everything will fly through smoothly with probably no cost to me and no out-of-pocket. That's the reason I've been with and stay with State Farm, and this office."
